Englishman (Kw’a’luxw) River Estuary Tour
Join The Nature Trust of BC on a walking tour of the Englishman (Kw’a’luxw) River Estuary, one of the most ecologically important estuaries in the province.
Led by Shawn Lukas of The Nature Trust of BC and the West Coast Conservation Land Management Program, the tour will outline the work that has been done to protect riparian habitat at this vital estuary over the past 5-7 years. Find out more about the restoration and monitoring processes, funding sources, and personnel involved at each site, and learn the rationale behind these important conservation and restoration projects.
What to bring: suitable walking shoes & apparel, weather–appropriate personal gear (e.g. sunblock or raincoat, and water.
